Planned Start Date: 13 April 2026

Purchase Order Duration: 12 months

Qualification and Experience Required:

Profile & Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or a related field, with strong technical understanding of lubricants, testing processes, and OEM requirements.

Objectives & Deliverables

  • The expected outputs of this role include:
  • OEM approval letters and certification documents
  • Monitoring dashboards for homologation progress and quality performance
  • Technical contributions to OEM projects and tender submissions
  • Monthly activity reports and continuously updated homologation databases

The project is centered on managing and coordinating the product approval (homologation) processes for lubricants, while supporting product development, validation, and strategic engagement with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) across automotive, marine, and industrial sectors.

Homologation Process Management

  • A core responsibility of this role is to initiate, coordinate, and monitor lubricant approval processes with OEMs. This involves acting as the primary technical point of contact for manufacturers, addressing technical inquiries in close collaboration with product engineering teams. Regular reporting is essential, providing clear visibility on the progress of approvals, as well as identifying potential risks, delays, or technical challenges that may arise throughout the process.

The position contributes to the industrialization of new products, ensuring readiness for large-scale production across various operational scopes.

OEM Projects & Tender Support

  • In addition, the role is actively involved in strategic OEM projects and tender processes. Responsibilities include proposing and technically monitoring lubricant formulations for both regional and global tenders, conducting technical assessments, and supporting the preparation of future bids. The role also contributes to the development of candidate products aligned with upcoming OEM requirements.

Quality, Processes & Systems

  • The position ensures proper management of approval data and administrative processes by maintaining up-to-date records in internal systems such as SharePoint and SAP. This includes tracking purchase orders, verifying invoice processing, and ensuring timely payments related to homologation activities. The role also supports testing activities involving vehicles and ensures compliance with internal quality standards.

Key Interfaces

The role requires close collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including:

  • Product Engineering and R&D teams
  • External laboratories and additive suppliers
  • OEM partners across automotive, marine, and industrial sectors
  • Internal departments such as Quality, Finance, and Procurement
