About the Role

Are you ready to launch your career in engineering and help shape the world around you? We are looking for an ambitious Apprentice Mechanical Engineer to join our design team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised engineering qualification. As part of our collaborative team, you will support engineers in delivering innovative civil and structural solutions across a variety of exciting projects. From commercial developments and infrastructure schemes to sustainable buildings and complex engineering challenges, you'll gain real project exposure from day one.

You'll learn how projects progress from concept through to detailed design, developing the technical skills and industry knowledge needed to build a successful career in engineering. What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting Mechanical engineers with design and analysis work
  • Assisting in the preparation of drawings, calculations, and technical reports
  • Learning to use industry-standard engineering software and design tools
  • Supporting project teams in delivering projects from concept to completion
  • Attending site visits and gaining practical insight into construction processes
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions

Requirements

  • Have recently completed (or be working towards) A-Levels, BTEC, or equivalent in subjects such as Engineering, Maths or a relevant subject
  • Able to qualify for the government apprenticeship criteria.
  • Have a strong interest in Mechanical Engineering and the built environment
  • Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Have good communication and teamwork skills
  • Be enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to develop new technical skills
