Dalkia Engineering - Electrical Project Engineer

We expanding, and we're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to help deliver complex MEP projects across London & the southern region. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a technical, fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of engineering delivery from design through to installation.

What you'll be doing

• Leading engineering and technical compliance across assigned projects, ensuring alignment with specifications, standards and employer requirements.
• Planning, coordinating and managing project activities to support safe, efficient and profitable delivery.
• Reviewing designs, drawings and specifications, identifying risks, driving value engineering and ensuring technical accuracy.
• Supporting procurement activities including technical submittals, plant/equipment enquiries, bid analysis and subcontract coordination.
• Monitoring programme, quality, sequencing and installation progress to maintain project performance.
• Working closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, designers and site teams to ensure smooth coordination across all disciplines.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors, representing Dalkia professionally at all stages.
• Ensuring robust H&S compliance, quality inspections, zero-defects reporting and accurate project documentation.
• Supporting commercial activities including variations, subcontract orders and project account updates.

What you'll bring

• Degree-qualified engineer preferred (BEng/BSc) with strong technical competence in Electrical Engineering & Design.
• Experience delivering MEP projects within a contracting environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex technical information.
• Confident communicator able to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams.
