Are you a Medior Mechanical Engineer with experience in the process industry and a passion for sustainable technologies?

At RIFT, we are developing a completely new way to make industrial heat fossil-free with our Iron Fuel Technology. To bring this technology from pilot installations to large-scale industrial applications, we are looking for a Medior Mechanical Engineer who can design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems for our innovative installations.

In this role, you will design, develop, and improve mechanical systems for our installations, including piping systems, pressure equipment, and mechanical components related to combustion and thermal processes. You will translate process concepts into technically robust and safe mechanical designs suitable for testing and scaling. You will work closely with process engineers and other disciplines to further develop and optimize our installations.

This role is perfect for an engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of mechanical engineering and process installations and wants to contribute to an innovative and sustainable energy technology.

What you'll do as a Medior Mechanical Engineer

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for RIFT installations
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to improve processes
• Contribute to optimizing and standardizing existing designs

Waarom je meebrengt als Mechanical Engineer

• 3 tot 7 jaar ervaring als Mechanical Engineer binnen de procesindustrie, zoals chemie, energie, olie & gas of vergelijkbaar.
• Ervaring met 3D CAD-software, bij voorkeur SolidWorks.
• Kennis van mechanische ontwerpprincipes en relevante normen.
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en teamgerichtheid.
• Afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in Werktuigbouwkunde, Mechatronica of vergelijkbaar.
