Orion are supporting an Oil Major in a high profile Greenfield LNG project. Currentlu we have a role available for a LNG Tanks Manager to join the team in Mozambique on a rotational basis. Onshore facilities include 2 LNG trains (total of 13 mtpa), LNG and Condensate storage, Marine Facilities (Jetty and loading facilities), Utilities and Early Site Infrastructure (Resettlement Village, Security works, airport, permanent camps, and roads)

Duration:    12 month renewable contract

• The Area 2 Tanks Manager leads the monitoring and oversight of the EPC Contractor works, and others works assigned to the team.
• Area 2 Tanks Manager mainly includes, but not limited to 2x60,000m3 condensate and off-spec condensate tanks, 2 ethane and 3 propane bullets, 2x180,000m3 LNG tanks and associated facilities.
• The Area 2 Tanks Manager will  manage a team of up to 10 personnel
• Support Project Manager in the overall Afungi site management and be a member of the site Emergency Management Team.
• Ensure that the team meets the necessary performance standards and corporate requirements.
• Develop a team spirit, foster teamwork, and build trust within the team. Encourage suitable personal and professional development
• Review construction progress from EPC Contractor, provide inputs to the internal construction reporting system and identify any deviances or risks to the schedule, by also proposing potential mitigations to his management and the EPC Contractor.
• Support his Manager, by providing inputs and coordination, in the overall site management of his area.
