Job description

As an Electrical Site Engineer, you will be dedicated to a specific site, either Vlissingen (Netherlands) or Schiedam (Netherlands), working for a leading client in the offshore energy sector.

Your missions

• Report to the Construction Manager and act as the technical owner for issues during outfitting on site, escalating major issues as needed
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including inspectors and engineers
• Support the Construction Manager in managing the site team and interactions with the EPC contractor
• Coordinate and participate in inspections on site
• Participate in the review of documents submitted by the contractor
• Coordinate vendors coming on site in collaboration with project leaders and the Construction Manager
• Maintain internal systems and processes to manage incoming inspection reports, ensuring clear communication with the EPC contractor and site team
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports together with the Construction Manager

Your profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the offshore sector or similar industrial environment
• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering
• VCA VOL/SCC for supervisor's certificate
• Excellent MS Office skills; knowledge of Aconex is a plus
• English fluent. Dutch is a plus.
• You demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
