DST Supervisor (Drill Stem Testing) – Offshore Rotational Role (4/4) – Suriname We are currently seeking an experienced DST Supervisor to support offshore drilling operations on a deep water campaign in Suriname. This is a rotational position (4 weeks on / 4 weeks off) offering the opportunity to play a key role in the safe and efficient execution of Drill Stem Testing activities.
Role Overview The DST Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and execution of DST operations, ensuring technical readiness, operational efficiency, and full compliance with procedures. Acting as a critical interface between offshore teams, service providers, and onshore engineering, you will contribute directly to operational success and performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise DST preparation and execution both offshore and at vendor facilities
• Ensure readiness of DST designs and proactively identify and report potential issues
• Execute DST programs in line with approved procedures and operational standards
• Monitor DST performance and contribute to optimisation and lessons learned
• Report operational deviations to senior engineering and drilling leadership
• Coordinate activities of DST service companies and equipment providers
• Act as the primary interface between offshore execution teams and onshore engineering
• Support preparation of end-of-well reports (EOWR) and close-out documentation
• Mentor and support junior DST personnel offshore
• Maintain strong collaboration with reservoir and completion engineering teams
• Promote and enforce QHSE standards at all times

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience as a DST Supervisor / Well Test Supervisor in offshore environments
• Strong background in deep water drilling and testing operations
• Proven ability to manage multi-vendor operations and complex testing programs
• Solid understanding of well testing equipment, procedures, and performance analysis
• Demonstrated commitment to HSE and operational excellence
• Strong communication and leadership skills in multicultural environments

Requirements

• Relevant well control certification (e.g. IWCF or equivalent)
• Valid offshore certifications (e.g. BOSIET/FOET, medical)
• Previous experience working in remote or international offshore projects
