QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Qualifications: bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
- Experience; minimum 7 years of experience in oil and gas industry or similar domain.
- Language: fluent English (speaking and technical writing).
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Computer literate including Microsoft Products, Power BI, PowerShell and NNG Tool.
- Proven ability to interpret data to develop insightful dashboards and technical reports.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively (worldwide) to perform project tasks.
ACTIVITIES
Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor engineering progress, KPIs, digital plant data development, equipment tags and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with MP/DES Digital team to develop advanced solutions for data collection and management
- Manage relevant engineering data sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency to support reliable BI analytics, automation, and reporting.
- Contribute to the creation, improvement, and rollout of EMG-related documentation and workflows (procedures, standards, execution plans, etc.) for engineering reporting, KPIs and data management.
- Provide timely insights on trends, milestones, deviations, and other indicators defines by EMG to support decision-making.
Equipment Tag & Smart Tools Management:
- Provide technical support to MP Engineering team and EPCIC Contractors on smart engineering tool applications.
- Assist in managing MP Tag database Tag validation data which are extracted from engineering documents, NNG Tool and AVEVA applications.
- Assist in monitoring tag consistency, completeness, quality across disciplines and projects.
- Perform quality checks on Contractors Master Tag Registers and validate against COMPANY One Pulse tag management system.
- Develop BI solutions to track and analyse EPCIC deliverables in terms of tag-related progress and quality.
- Verify EPCIC Contractors deliverables for iTools compliance (numbering, properties, PDF parameters and all other smart document requirements).
- Perform MANASA review of EPCIC deliverables to ensure iPDF compliance and respond to TQRs related to smart tools.
- Support the development of smart tool-related MP standards, procedures, guidelines, etc.
- Provide training on smart tools to Contractor personnel.
- Coordinate troubleshooting with Contractor and smart tool Vendors including software/plugin issues, modifications and new update requirements.
- Participate in clarification, kick-off, progress meetings to ensure Contractor alignment with COMPANY smart tool requirements.
- Ensure that relevant feedback/lessons learned from previous similar projects are considered in the design.
- Support final review of the Project deliverables and handover from Contractors to MP and E&C.
- Ensure effective interface and communication with MP engineering, COMPANY entities, Contractors and Vendors.
Engineering Management Process Standardization:
- Support the development of technical reports, specifications, guidelines, memos, as identified by EMG.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in Engineering reporting, data management, tagging or smart tools workflows.
- Engage in smart tools enhancement, testing, documenting, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes and digitalizing tasks.
- Document and promote engineering best practices across projects in collaboration with EMG.
Interface & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with MP entities, upon request, to propose and deliver Power BI dashboard solutions aligned with their requirements.
- Support MPH entities, PMT, Contractors, Vendors on queries related to Engineering dashboards and smart tools.
- Participate in workshops, clarification meetings, multidiscipline reviews, training, audits, etc. as required to address queries related to Engineering reporting, dashboards, tagging, smart tools.
- Coordinate scope-related interfaces with MP entities (BSM, FOPS, HSEQ) and COMPANY departments including E&C and DBS to guarantee that:
- Stakeholders and data owners are identified, and their requirements captured.
- Alignment with stakeholders and data owners is achieved (required functions, features, and expected use cases of the systems / applications to be delivered by the end of each project).
