In which organization will you work as an Electrical Engineer?

We are currently looking, on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector, for an Electrical Engineer, based in Villeurbanne.

Electrical Engineer: What will be your missions and responsibilities?

• Preparation of data sheets using Excel
• Development of calculation sheets (Excel + Caneco)
• Drafting of preliminary technical descriptions
• Support in the preparation of construction work packages and electrical equipment tenders
• Specification of electrical equipment (diesel generators, LV & MV switchboards), protection schemes, typical diagrams, LV & HV motors, load lists, power balance
• Interface coordination for installation studies
• Strong autonomy, coordination, method, and organizational skills are required
• Occasional travel to sites across France

What profile and skills are required for this Electrical Engineer position?

• 5 to 10 years of experience required
• Degree: Bachelor to Master level (Engineering or equivalent)
• Fluent French and strong English required
• Proficiency in Autocad, Excel, Word, Visio, Caneco BT
• Electrical certification/authorization required
• Good knowledge of engineering methods and project phases
• Strong knowledge of IEC electrical standards
• Good knowledge of HV and LV electrical equipment (main and secondary equipment in plants and substations)
• Ability to manage electrical equipment tenders
