EngineeringiGii is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join their rapidly expanding Engineering team. The Senior Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design, development, scale-up, validation and optimisation of our manufacturing processes as we enter a crucial period of growth.

Your purpose in the Role:
You will lead the development, optimisation, and validation of manufacturing processes and equipment to support delivery of our Pilot Line, new product platforms, and a robust end-to-end supply chain. Your work will ensure we meet key Manufacturing Proof and Platform Proof milestones for our customers, enabling us to scale to commercial volumes while maintaining exceptional quality and compliance.

Your purpose in the Role:
You will lead the development, optimisation, and validation of manufacturing processes and equipment to support delivery of our Pilot Line, new product platforms, and a robust end-to-end supply chain. Your work will ensure we meet key Manufacturing Proof and Platform Proof milestones for our customers, enabling us to scale to commercial volumes while maintaining exceptional quality and compliance.
What you will do and how you will succeed:
- Lead the design, development, and qualification of manufacturing equipment
- Create equipment specifications and qualification criteria, ensuring seamless end-to-end project delivery
- Deliver key validation and commissioning milestones for new prototype and pilot production lines, enabling manufacturing of semi-finished sensor parts from low to high-volume production
- Support the development of a robust end-to-end supply chain, ensuring material availability, process capability and customer readiness
- Develop and implement new statistical methods, process controls and quality control tools to monitor and improve KPIs and process robustness
- Lead equipment, process, product and supplier verification and validation activities, ensuring timely completion of qualification deliverables
- Champion lean methodologies to drive manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement
- Provide strong analytical and problem-solving expertise to address complex engineering challenges
- Mentor and support other engineers, contributing to technical capability development across the team
- Collaborate across functions and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders on milestone progress and project risks
Who we are looking for:
- Extensive experience operating in an ISO/GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in developing, scaling, validating, and launching manufacturing processes and/or products into commercial production
- Experience contributing to Pilot Line or NPD/NPI technology scale-up activities
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with experience in statistical methods, characterisation techniques, and process optimisation
- Experience working with external suppliers, contract manufacturers and testing partners
- Degree qualified in an engineering discipline
- lean Six Sigma certified (Green or Black Belt) with experience of using such techniques to drive measurable improvements is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence, work autonomously, collaborate and present to senior stakeholders
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment, and is energised by solving meaningful technical challenges
