Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and govern the Occupational Health (OH) management system and strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate requirements, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices
- Provide subject-matter expertise on Occupational Health matters
- Oversee medical emergency preparedness across offshore assets, including medevac coordination, drills, response protocols, and readiness assessments
- Assure offshore medical facilities, equipment, competencies, and clinical procedures to ensure operational readiness and compliance
- Support OH requirements through all offshore project phases, ensuring integration of OH considerations throughout the asset lifecycle
- Manage external OH service providers, including offshore medics, telemedicine vendors, and specialized clinical support contractors
- Take ownership of OH reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and data governance processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and reliability of OH data for risk identification and decision-making
- Conduct internal verifications, readiness reviews, and audits of Occupational Health programs to confirm compliance and foster continuous improvement
- Review, validate, and support Health Risk Assessments (HRAs), exposure monitoring programs, and industrial hygiene activities, ensuring identification, evaluation, and control of workplace health hazards
- Ensure compliance with relevant offshore Occupational Health regulations, flag-state requirements, and applicable international guidance, integrating ISO 45001 principles into OH programs and systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Nursing, or related field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry, or a closely related industry
- Proven experience in preventive healthcare and Occupational Health program delivery
- Experience as an Offshore Medic is preferred
- Ability to work effectively across cultures and in diverse geographic environments
- Demonstrated capability in developing, governing, and analyzing global OH KPIs, leading indicators, and health performance trends for senior leadership review
- Experience supporting offshore operations is desirable

- Strong competence in industrial hygiene, including HRAs, exposure assessments, and interpretation of occupational exposure limits (OELs)
- Familiarity with relevant international Occupational Health codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in incident assessment, the medical aspects of investigations, and root-cause analysis
- Competency in data analytics and interpretation of health-related datasets
