This position reports to:
Paralleling Switchgear Team Lead

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creating of Class I, II , III drawings and creates of Bills of Materials.
• Selecting of adequate Electrical Equipment.
• Assisting customer on questions/comments regarding the product.
• Coaching new engineers to learn the products faster.
• Supporting local manufacturing team with design questions.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering, Electro-mechanical engineering, Control and automation engineering.
• 5 yrs experience in electrical design of Switchgears, MCCs or Protection and Controls
• Electrical Design software as E-Plan or similar
• Advanced English
• PLC/HMI/SCADA/Communication Networking exposure (preferred)
• Knowledge of UL, ANSI, IEEE, NEC standards (preferred)
