Your missions

• Engineer consumer goods appliances, balancing cost, timing, quality, manufacturability, and usability.
• Release products, components, modules, and assemblies for mass production.
• Plan, realize, and steer mechanical product development, managing cross-functional aspects.
• Identify gaps and implement improvements to elevate development approaches.
• Serve as the technical counterpart for commercial managers and designers to realize attractive appliances.
• Create and implement concepts, functions, or improvements that deliver added value for consumers.
• Manage product development from initial design concepts to mass production within a multidisciplinary team.
• Support and mentor engineers in the product team.

Your profile

• Academic background: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical product development in consumer goods or consumer electronics appliances (minimum 5 years).
• Experience with CAD and state-of-the-art development techniques.
• Knowledge of mechanical constructions in plastic, including manufacturability aspects (mould/tooling design), analysis (strength, stiffness), and drive mechanisms.
• Experience with Design for Six Sigma is a plus.
• Experience in e-bom management and SAP CAD management is preferred.

• You demonstrate strong coordination, communication, and coaching skills.
• You show drive, determination in decision making, independence, and are quality driven.
• You are ambitious and a team player.
