Key responsibilities

Are you ready to take ownership of complex, forward-looking energy projects? Join our Energy Industries division in Germany and play a key role in shaping innovative electrical system solutions across a wide range of applications. As the primary technical expert, you will oversee projects from conception to execution. This includes greenfield developments, such as hydrogen and Power-to-X projects, as well as service and retrofit initiatives within our installed base.

The work model for the role is: hybrid. (#LI-Hybrid)

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading complex engineering projects from start to finish, coordinating a team of specialist engineers to deliver on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

• Representing the project to customers as the main technical interface, building strong relationships and ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.

• Together with the project management team, you will drive project execution by defining work plans, resource requirements and technical proposals, as well as performing risk and opportunity assessments.

• You will also drive technical excellence by solving complex challenges, fostering collaboration across engineering teams, sharing best practices and supporting supplier and subcontractor management

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering or as a technical project manager, with strong expertise in most of the following areas:

• HV/MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, high-power rectifiers and inverters, as well as containerized/e-house solutions

• Strong intrinsic motivation, curiosity, and enthusiasm for emerging technologies

• A collaborative, solution-driven mindset paired with excellent communication skills

• Fluent in German and English, with strong negotiation capabilities

• Willingness to travel occasionally for short business trips
