Jouw bijdrage aan het succes van Prysmian

Wij zijn op zoek naar een Project Engineer.

Binnen het commerciële team is de afdeling Project Engineering verantwoordelijk voor de technische integriteit van de aangeboden oplossingen aan onze klanten.

• Voorbereiden van het technische gedeelte van projecttenders, gebaseerd op klantspecificaties;
• Ondersteunen van Sales bij het presenteren van technische oplossingen aan klanten;
• Ondersteunen van Project Management tijdens de installatie van kabelsystemen;
• Betrokken zijn bij en bijdragen leveren aan R&D-projecten, type tests, speciale tests, enz.;

De Project Engineer is betrokken bij:

Unieke technische oplossingen:
Het vertalen van functionele klantspecificaties naar kabelsysteemontwerpen, inclusief kabels, accessoires en aardingsontwerpen, tests, hulpsystemen en monitoringssystemen, met focus op optimale balans in termen van technische integriteit, risico's, kosten en (R&D-)doorlooptijd;

Inzicht in de markt:
Het signaleren van marktbehoeften op het gebied van producttypes en -ontwerpen, civiele oplossingen, testvereisten, oplossingen van concurrenten, installatieontwikkelingen, enz.;

De stem van de klant:
Het voorbereiden van R&D-voorstellen op basis van markttrends en klantbehoeften;

Teamwork:
Werken in een matrixorganisatie met een prominente rol in een tenderteam, ondersteuning bieden aan Sales, tender management en installaties, samenwerken met R&D wanneer systeemengineeringkennis vereist is;

Marktconformiteit:
Het signaleren van behoeften voor (her-)nieuwe type tests, prekwalificatietests en andere testen;

Netwerken:
Deelnemen aan (inter)nationale standaardisatie-activiteiten, werkgroepen, taskforces, en contact onderhouden met engineers van klanten en onderaannemers;

Administratie:
Harmoniseren en standaardiseren van documentatie, berekeningen, procedures, technische beschrijvingen, enz.;

Kwalificaties:

• Bachelor- of masterdiploma in een technische richting, bij voorkeur Elektrotechniek;
• Teamspeler binnen een matrixorganisatie;

Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:

We are looking for a Project Engineer.

Within the commercial team, the project engineering department is responsible for the technical integrity of the offered solutions to our customers.

• Preparation of the technical part of project tenders, based on clients specifications;
• Support Sales with the presentation of technical solutions to customers;
• Support Project management during the installation of cable systems;
• Involvement and providing input in R&D projects, type tests, special tests etc..

The Project Engineer is involved in:

• Unique engineered solutions: Translating customer functional specifications into cable system designs, including cable, accessories and earthing designs, tests, auxiliary systems and monitoring system, with focus on optimum in terms of technical integrity, risks, costs and (R&D-) timing;
• Understanding market drivers: Signalling needs from the market in terms of product types and designs, civil solutions, testing specification, competitor solutions, installation developments etc;
• Voice of the customer: Prepare R&D proposals based on the market trends and customer needs;
• Teamwork: Work in a matrix organisation with a prominent role in a tender team, providing support to sales, tender management and installations, co-operate with R&D where system engineering knowledge is needed;
• Market conformity: Signalling needs for (re-)new type tests, prequalification tests and other tests;
• Networking: Participate in (inter-)national standardization work, working groups, taskforces, meet with engineers from our customers and subcontractors;
• Administration: Harmonize and standardize documentation, calculations, procedures, technical descriptions etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master degree in a technical study, preferably Electrical Engineering;
• Team player in a matrix organization
