About this vacancy

At TMC, as a Mechanical Engineer, you are given the freedom and responsibility to transform technical challenges into smart, customer-oriented machine solutions. You work on exciting projects where existing machines are further developed and fully tailored to the needs of international clients. No request is the same - and that makes your work varied, innovative, and impactful. In this role, you collaborate with experienced Development Engineers, taking over their concepts and translating them into complete, producible machines. You know how to convert technical ideas into a solid design ready for realization. Beyond designing, you are also involved in the progress of the projects that your machines are part of. You coordinate with fellow engineers, procurement, planning, and service. As the expert on your machine group, you are the go-to technical point of contact throughout the entire lifecycle of the machine.

What we expect from you

• Completed higher professional education (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field, with a specialization in drive technology being a plus;
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in machine construction;
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• Proven experience with SolidWorks;
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with SAP is a plus;
• Willing to travel abroad 1 to 2 times per year;
• You have an affinity for technology and enjoy practical, hands-on work.
