Partly remoteAs a Mechanical Engineer at Eurosort, you will be involved daily in designing and developing 2D and 3D CAD drawings for advanced sorting systems used worldwide. You translate technical layouts into concrete designs that are directly used in production and installation. In addition to creating technical drawings, you will also be involved in testing potential solutions, setting up bill of materials, and preparing technical documentation.
You will work closely with experienced engineers who guide and coach you, while you actively contribute to projects and gradually take on more responsibility. From the start, you will be involved in project meetings and design reviews: initially to gain knowledge, and later to actively contribute and make an impact. Whether you are at the beginning of your career or already have some experience, you will have the opportunity to develop into a fully-fledged engineer within an experienced team.
You will join a team where collaboration, learning, and development are central. There is a strong focus on guidance, feedback, and knowledge sharing. You will work closely with experienced engineers who help you grow, while you gradually take on more responsibility. Eurosort has an open and informal culture where initiative is valued and you are given the space to develop both technically and personally.
What do we offer
In this role, you will start by designing and developing 2D and 3D CAD drawings for our machines. This can range from individual components to larger parts of a complete installation. You will work independently on your tasks, while being closely guided by experienced engineers who help you progress quickly. Everything you design is actually built and implemented, allowing you to see your work come to life in practice.
You will mainly begin with configuration and standardization tasks (CTO), where you assemble existing modules and product blocks into larger systems. This allows you to understand how our machines are built and how different components interact. Once you have mastered this, you will grow into more complex Engineering-to-Order (ETO) activities, where you design increasingly customized solutions and take on a larger role within projects.
Your responsibilities include:
