What's the Job About?
As a (Graduate) Engineer you will support the Senior Engineer (Operational Technology) in the development, collation, and management of SCADA site data packs used to underpin the SCADA User Requirements Specification (URS). The role focuses on gathering accurate, consistent site-specific technical and operational data and presenting it in a structured format suitable for URS development and vendor engagement. The role will develop you to become an OT Engineer.

Basic salary of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and level (Graduate or Project Engineer).

What You'll Be Doing:
Site Data Pack Development:
- Create and maintain SCADA site data packs.
- Collate control room layouts, site configurations, PLC/RTU details, and communications assets.
- Organise site information into consistent templates for URS use.
Data Collection & Validation:
- Gather data from site surveys, drawings, and operational stakeholders.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and assumptions.
- Maintain traceability to data sources.
- URS Support:
Map site data to URS sections.
- Support URS reviews and clarification responses.
- Support the development of the alarm requirement specification
What You'll Need:
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Automation, or Systems Engineering.
- Strong ability to organise technical information.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and diagramming tools.
- Valid UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Awareness of SCADA or industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with site surveys and asset data collection.
- Basic understanding of PLCs, RTUs, and control networks.
- Exposure to URS or FEED-stage engineering.
Salary
Basic salary of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and level (Graduate or Project Engineer).
