What's the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) professional to design, develop, operate, and support enterprise analytics and planning solutions. The role involves end-to-end ownership of SAC dashboards, models, planning applications, integrations, and operational support while ensuring performance, security, and data governance standards are met.

The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP technical teams, data engineers, and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud.

What you'll be doing

SAC Development & Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Analytics Cloud stories, dashboards, and analytic applications
• Build and enhance SAC models using live and import connections from SAP BW, SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and other data sources
• Develop enterprise-standard KPIs, measures, dimensions, hierarchies, calculated measures, and input controls
• Optimize dashboards and stories for performance, usability, and visual consistency
• Enable self-service analytics for business users by designing intuitive and reusable SAC content

Planning & Advanced Analytics

• Design and support SAC Planning models, including versions, allocations, data actions, forecasting, and simulations
• Implement planning workflows, input forms, and business rules aligned with Finance and FP&A requirements
• Support integration between actuals, budgets, forecasts, and plans within SAC

Data Integration & Architecture

• Implement and manage live connections and data acquisition scenarios
• Work with data engineering teams to define data refresh strategies, data pipelines, and connection architecture
• Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and alignment with source systems
• Participate in architecture reviews to ensure scalability and enterprise alignment

Security, Governance & Compliance

• Configure and manage SAC security, including roles, teams, data access controls, and authorizations
• Support Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication flows using SAP IAS / SAML
• Ensure compliance with data governance, audit, and security standards
• Support internal and external audits related to analytics and reporting platforms

Operations & Support

• Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP Analytics Cloud
• Perform incident, problem, and root cause analysis for SAC-related issues
• Monitor tenant health, usage trends, and performance metrics
• Support quarterly SAC upgrades, including impact analysis, testing, and release readiness
• Manage transport and release processes across DEV, QA, and PROD environments

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Act as a SAP Analytics Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Gather and translate business requirements into SAC solutions
• Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT teams
• Coordinate with SAP Basis, Security, and Identity teams for user provisioning and access
• Engage with vendors and partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Proactively identify opportunities for enhancements and continuous improvement

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Create and maintain technical documentation, design documents, and operating procedures
• Provide training, demos, and guidance to business users and junior team members
• Share best practices and drive adoption of new SAC features

What you bring

• Bachelor's in Information Technology or related degree with minimum 5 years experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Expertise in SAC Stories, Models, Data Actions, and Planning
• Experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA, and/or S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of Live vs Import models
• Knowledge of SAC security, roles, teams, and data authorization
• Understanding of cloud authentication and SSO concepts (SAP IAS, SAML)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to work in enterprise, multi stakeholder environments

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAC Analytic Applications and Embedded Analytics
• ITIL / Production Support experience
• SAP Analytics Cloud certification
• Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments
