Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training)

About the Role

We're looking for Electrical Engineering experts to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. Your deep technical knowledge will directly shape how AI reasons through complex engineering problems - making a real impact on the next generation of intelligent systems.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your expertise does the talking. If you can design a circuit, debug a control system, or derive a Fourier transform in your sleep, we want to hear from you.

    : Hourly Contract
  • Location
    : Remote
  • Commitment
    : 10-40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design Challenging Problems
    - Craft advanced electrical engineering problems spanning circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, and embedded systems to stress-test AI reasoning
  • Author Gold-Standard Solutions
    - Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as ground-truth benchmarks for AI learning
  • Audit AI Outputs
    - Evaluate AI-generated code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC)
  • Sharpen AI Reasoning
    - Identify logical flaws in AI-generated engineering reasoning and provide structured feedback that helps models think more precisely
  • Work Asynchronously
    - Complete tasks on your own schedule with full autonomy over your hours

Who You Are

  • Holds or is pursuing a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Strong foundational expertise in one or more core areas: VLSI, control systems, power electronics, telecommunications, signal processing, or electromagnetics
  • Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and concisely in written form
  • Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing mathematical equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
  • No prior AI or data annotation experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, SPICE, Simulink)
  • Background in academic or professional technical writing

Why Join Us

  • Work on frontier AI projects in collaboration with world-leading research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible - work from anywhere, on your own schedule
  • Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
  • Gain rare, firsthand insight into how advanced large language models are trained
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
