EXPAT role: For a major western oil and gas company we are looking for an EXPAT server Engineer on rotation to work in Algeria. This is to start around August and will be 2 years duration on a 28/28 rotation (flights and accommodation paid).

Major Duties
Administer and optimize Active Directory across all sites, including user account lifecycle management, group policy and group management, and privileged access administration.
Administer the on-premises Microsoft Exchange and hybrid Microsoft 365 environment in alignment with corporate standards.
Develop and maintain automation for administration and operational tasks using PowerShell and approved tools (e.g., ManageEngine).

Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
5 years of hands-on experience administering enterprise server, storage, backup, and Microsoft infrastructure environments.
 
Desired Experience and Skills:
Strong experience with Windows Server; working knowledge of Linux administration.
Relevant vendor training or certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Dell, HPE).
Familiarity with server security, hardening baselines, and vulnerability remediation practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
 
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft, VMware, Dell, or similar infrastructure certifications.
ITIL Foundation (or equivalent service management certification)
