About this Position

What you'll do
  • Lead and execute investment projects safely, on time, on budget, and in line with Henkel's Project Management Framework
  • Manage all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects in the European region
  • Drive all project phases - from feasibility and concept development to execution, commissioning, start-up, hand-over and project closure, including lessons learned
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks, resolving and escalating issues as appropriate
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and transparency
  • Collaborate with internal experts and technology specialists to secure best-in-class technical solutions
  • Facilitate ongoing best practice exchange between sites and the regional engineering group to strengthen sustainability knowledge and capabilities
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of sustainability practices across sites
What makes you a good fit
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Engineering, preferably in CAPEX investment projects within an industrial process related environment
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with relevant tools and methodologies
  • High degree of self-motivation, autonomy, and flexibility in a dynamic international environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels and functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, CAD applications
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel across Europe up to 30% of the time, depending on project assignments
