EngineeringWe are looking for a Major Shutdown Maintenance Planner for one of our clients with the following details:
Location: Marchienne le Pont, Belgium
Start Date: June 1st
Contract Duration: 12 months
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in planning major shutdowns / industrial maintenance, ideally in an energy environment / CCGT
- Proficiency in planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent)
- Ability to manage a large volume of activities and co-activities
- High sensitivity to HSE rules
- Interpersonal skills: daily interactions with a variety of interlocutors
- Rigour, autonomy, ability to analyze and prioritize
Mission objectives
The Provider will be responsible for:
Construction and update of the overall schedule
- Development of the complete schedule for the Major 2027 shutdown (preparation, execution, consolidation).
Integration:
- Schedules of external companies and internal preparers
- Start/end dates of unit shutdowns
- Testing, lockout/delockout stages
- Circuit & system provision
- Additional work (with appropriate digital tools)
- Consistency with work permits
Production of associated plans
- Maintenance, repair and storage area plans
- Access and circulation maps (including car parks)
Operational monitoring during the shutdown
- Daily progress update with proactive delay detection
- Participation in daily coordination meetings
- Support to operations managers for consistency between permits and future activities
Assistance to the Chief of Arrest for:
- Feasibility studies
- Opportunity analysis
- Management of Change (MOC) monitoring
Feedback
- Compilation of a detailed REX
- Proposals for improvement
