ELECTRICAL ENGINEER is required by our Client, to be assigned on a contract basis, located in Bangalore, India

DURATION: One year (with possible extension)

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical maintenance within the oil and gas (onshore/offshore) or refinery or petrochemical chemical Industry.
• Experience in planning and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, Turnarounds, and shutdowns
• Proven expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems in hazardous areas.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and UPS systems.
  • Generators, motors, and lighting systems.
  • Electrical systems in hazardous areas compliant with ATEX/IECEx standards.
• Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for scheduling, planning, and tracking maintenance activities.
• Experience in generating and analyzing maintenance reports using SAP.
• Familiarity with reviewing electrical design drawings, specifications, and standards.
• In-depth knowledge of safety standards in oil and gas (e.g., HSE regulations).
• Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing electrical safety programs.
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
