We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Drafter/ Electrical Drafter to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the mission we offer you:

• Perform drafting works for electrical design deliverables for onshore /offshore projects and to fulfill departmental needs and support Design team.
• In the role of Senior Drafter, should be able to perform activities in 3D environment using the relevant softwares and work effectively with Design team to undertake deliverables in 3D softwares i.e. E3D, SmartPlan 3D (or older softwares like PDMS or PDS)

Main Challenges:

Main Accountabilities

DESIGN BASIS, CODE & STANDARD

• Understand drafting and design practices.

KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRICAL DESIGN

• Contribute to team in CAD 2D drawings and simple design tasks.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of drafting work output.
• Able to work on 3D model environment with practical appreciation to equipment installation viability.
• Produce and deliver all tasks or work in a timely manner.
• Ensure effective use of tools to improve quality and productivity of work.
• In the role of senior drafter, good understanding to workflow & processes to reference the relevant source date in delivering your output.

WORKING DELIVERABLES

• Able to prepare following deliverables with supervision from lead / senior designer:
• Layout drawings cable routing, earthing, lightning protection, lighting and small power, equipment/substation arrangement, etc.
• 3D models
• Electrical installation detail drawings
• Interconnection and wiring diagrams
• Single line and schematic diagrams

OTHERS

• Good communication skills and able to collaborate and work well with others. Liaise with other departments/disciplines as required.
• Fulfill QA /QHSES aspects, eg. maintain drafting office filing system, ensure compliance with QA and QHSES requirements

About you:

The Candidate shall possess an Electrical/Electronic Engineering Certificate/Diploma from recognized institution. ACAD Certificate from a recognized institution will be accepted subject to meeting experience criteria.
