Demcon high-tech systems is a multidisciplinary development and engineering partner for mechatronic challenges, from concept to realization, in the field of high-tech systems.

What are you going to do?

As an electrical engineer you take ownership of the electrical work package within our projects.

The work includes electromechanical activities such as the following:

• Cable design and cable harness routing (including schematics)
• Design AC and DC power distribution systems or submodules
• Designing electronic racks, cabinets and control consoles

The afore mentioned projects range from products in the semiconductor industry to satellite communication systems and medical devices. We make use of EPLAN and SolidWorks, among other tools, for visualization and design.

As part of one of the important disciplines, you are involved early-on during the specification and concept phase. This is where your conceptual and analytic skills come to the fore. You communicate with the customer, system architect and the other engineering disciplines to create the best solutions.

In the detailed design and assembly and test phase, you dive into the details and work closely together with the rest of the team to achieve a system which can be built and verified.

The interfaces between mechanics, software and electrical hardware play an important role here.

You will be working in multidisciplinary teams, with external development partners and in regular consultation with customers. Communication and cooperation are therefore vitally important to achieve the results we strive for

What do you bring to the table?

• You have completed an HBO or WO education, preferably in the direction of Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
• You have a minimum 3 years of experience as an electrical engineer
• You have the ability to independently work within and communicate with a multidisciplinary team
• You have experience in working with EPLAN
• Knowledge in PCBA design is an advantage
