Reports to: MEP Manager

Location: Egypt (On-site)

Industry: Rail projects

Responsibilities

• The Candidate will supervise and inspect Firefighting and Plumbing (Sewage, Drainage, Water Supply) works for a transportation project.
• Coordinate on a daily basis with the other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by the Contractor and process the incoming Inspection Requests and perform the necessary actions.
• Supervision of different plumbing & firefighting systems in different applications.
• Inspecting pump rooms (Firefighting & booster pumps, pipes, Valves)
• Responsible material submittals for all Firefighting & plumbing systems.
• Testing & inspection different plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, storm network, Sewage)
• Maintaining records of the contractor manpower and equipment daily resources

Qualifications

• Bachelor's university degree in Mechanical engineering.
• Excellent command of English Language is a must.
• 10 to 15 years' experience.
• Railway/Metro experience is a plus.
• Site Experience.
• Testing and Commissioning experience is a must.
• Familiar with Firefighting water systems (sprinkler, standpipe) as well as Clean Agent Systems (FM200 and CO2) and Foam Systems.
• Experience in infrastructure networks for Firefighting, water supply, drainage and sewage
• Familiar with standards & international codes (Egyptian codes, IPC, NFPA& ASTM)
