Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Electrical Designers for a time-sensitive oil and gas project. The ideal candidates will have 15+ years of hands-on design experience and strong proficiency in SP3D / E3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. Candidates must be capable of independently handling detailed electrical design deliverables for large-scale oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver electrical design and drafting for oil and gas facilities, including:Prepare and update electrical drawings and 3D models using SP3D / E3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
  • Lighting layouts
  • Power distribution systems
  • Cable routing and tray layouts
  • Earthing and grounding systems
  • Electrical equipment layouts
• Produce detailed engineering drawings such as:Coordinate closely with electrical engineers, other discipline designers, and project teams to ensure design integration
  • Single line diagrams (SLD)
  • Wiring and termination drawings
  • Cable schedules and routing layouts
  • Equipment location drawings
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements
• Incorporate review comments from clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Support design activities across FEED, detailed engineering, and EPC phases
• Meet project schedules and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification)
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience as an Electrical Designer
• Mandatory oil and gas industry experience, preferably on large EPC projects
• Strong hands-on expertise in:Proven experience working on brownfield and greenfield projects
  • SP3D / E3D
  • AutoCAD
  • MicroStation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of international electrical design standards and practices

Contract Details

• Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months
• Extension: Possible, subject to project requirements and performance
• Joining: Immediate availability is mandatory due to project urgency
