We are looking for an LNG Start Up Operations Manager for one of our clients with the following details:

Start date: June 2026

Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable)

Location: Sohar, Oman

Service Status: Resident (5 days per week)

Qualification and Experience required:

• Master degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required)

Background and experience

• Professional Experience: +15 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry with proven experience with large onshore plants and LNG plants.
• Several years of proven experience in Commissioning and Operation stage of LNG projects.
• Experience in similar position (years): +5 years' experience.

Service

• The LNG Start-up & Operations Engineer is part of the team for the LNG Project
• In this critical role, they will be responsible for ensuring the preparation of the start-up and to assist the Commissioning and Start-up Team during the start-up phase.
• They will report directly to the Commissioning & Start-up Methods Lead.
• The LNG Start-up & Operations Engineer shall prepare start-up procedures and the operating procedures in cooperation with the operation team. They shall also ensure documents availability for Operation requirements at first Gas in.
