Electrical Engineer at SPX FLOW, an ITT Company

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Saudi National Only)

SPX FLOW is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (Saudi National Only) to join our global engineering team supporting the design and delivery of automated industrial systems across the Food, Beverage, Dairy, and Hygienic Process industries.

This role focuses on electrical hardware design, system integration, and project execution support across international capital projects, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering electrical systems for automated process plants. You will support projects from proposal stage through detailed engineering, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and contractual requirements.

You will also collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful execution of electrical scope within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design & Engineering

• Develop electrical solutions aligned with project and proposal requirements
• Design and specify:
• Electrical architecture diagrams
• PLC, I/O, power and control panels
• Wiring diagrams and cable schedules
• Network and communication systems
• Control cabinet layouts and hardware specifications
• Prepare electrical design documentation and technical specifications
• Perform load calculations and electrical studies
• Ensure compliance with SPX FLOW standards and industry regulations

Procurement & Subcontractor Management

• Prepare tender documentation for electrical subcontractors
• Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals
• Support contract negotiations to ensure cost and quality compliance
• Monitor electrical scope execution by third-party vendors

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for electrical panels and systems
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications
• Verify electrical installations and resolve technical issues

Project & Site Support

• Support installation and commissioning teams on site
• Assist with electrical installation planning and troubleshooting
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies
• Provide technical support during project execution and proposal phases

Documentation & Handover

• Maintain structured and complete electrical design documentation
• Prepare O&M manuals and spare parts lists
• Support technical file compilation for regulatory compliance
• Assist in handover of electrical documentation to aftermarket teams

What We're Looking For

✔ Saudi National (mandatory requirement)
✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering for industrial automation systems
✔ Strong knowledge of electrical design, panels, and control systems
✔ Experience in Food, Beverage, Dairy, or Process industries preferred
✔ Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
✔ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
✔ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a matrix environment
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✔ Fluent English (spoken and written)

Annual salary: 210,600 - 280,200 SAR, depending on experience and qualifications

Preferred Experience

• PLC / control system integration understanding
• Experience with FAT and site commissioning support
• Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and safety regulations
• Exposure to international EPC project environments

Travel Requirement

• Willingness to travel up to 50% across Saudi Arabia and UAE
