Title - SCADA Process Engineer, London UK

Essential Functional / Technical Skills
• A qualification in an Engineering, Computing or Science based subject - Degree level (preferred), HND Level (Minimum)
• A strong understanding and experience of the design, configuration, installation and commissioning of Operational Applications such as DMS, Data Historians, general SCADA, Telemetry and communications systems.
• An understanding of the safety requirements of SSE Operational Applications in terms of the safety of people and plant in line with SSE policies.
• A understanding and experience of working with various Operating Systems - including Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Linux
• An understanding and experience of working with various Database Applications - including Oracle and Microsoft SQL
• Working understanding and experience of Project Management methodology and how to apply it appropriately for large and small projects.
• An understanding and awareness of OT cyber-security requirements in order to ensure delivery of safe and secure project solutions
• A good understanding and experience of working with Communications Technologies
• A good understanding and experience of FAT and SAT techniques and documentation
• Working understanding of risk assessment and risk management processes
