Join CCR - Be Part of Our Growth Journey in the UK
As CCR continues to scale its presence in the UK market, expanding our customer base and establishing new offices, we are seeking technically experienced professionals within cooling technology and HVAC to join our growing team.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing organization where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical solutions, working closely with customers and internal teams, and shaping the future of our UK operations.
Reporting to: Solution Manager
Department: Operations
CCR is scaling next generation CO₂ based refrigeration and heat pump technologies that help commercial and industrial customers cut energy use, reduce emissions, and transition to high efficiency natural refrigerant systems. We are looking for a Product & Commissioning Specialist to play a pivotal role in deploying our solutions with precision, reliability, and maximum performance impact.
About the Role
As a Product & Commissioning Specialist, you will be the technical expert ensuring that every CCR CO₂ refrigeration or heat pump system is configured, installed, and commissioned to the highest standard. Your work directly influences system efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the real world decarbonisation outcomes our technology delivers.
You will lead on site commissioning activities, optimise system performance, and act as the technical bridge between engineering, product development, and field operations. This role is essential to reducing deployment errors, accelerating time to operation, and supporting CCR's rapid growth across commercial, industrial, and energy intensive sectors.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Lead on-site commissioning of CO₂ refrigeration and heat-pump systems, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to performance, safety, and regulatory standards
• Configure, validate, and optimise system parameters to maximise efficiency, reliability, and thermal performance
• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and early operation, driving rapid and effective resolution
• Provide expert feedback to engineering and product teams to improve system design, reliability, and field readiness
• Develop and maintain standardised commissioning procedures, documentation, and best-practice guidelines
• Support customers, installers, and field teams with technical guidance throughout deployment and post-installation phases
• Analyse system performance data to identify optimisation opportunities and ensure long-term operational effectiveness
Qualifications
What You Bring:
• Strong technical background in refrigeration engineering, mechanical engineering, HVAC, or industrial heat-pump systems
• Hands-on experience commissioning CO₂ (R744) systems, commercial refrigeration, industrial cooling, or high-temperature heat pumps
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in the field
• Comfort working in dynamic, hands-on environments with cross-functional teams
• A passion for natural-refrigerant technology, energy efficiency, and supporting the transition to low-carbon heating and cooling
