Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for one of our clients in the Oslo region. You will work with module design from concept to production, focusing on advanced 3D design, technical problem-solving, and close collaboration with production, clients, and other engineering disciplines. The role involves developing modular power and energy solutions for offshore, marine, and land-based industries using Inventor.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept development and 3D design of modules and mechanical solutions
• Create models, drawings, and bills of materials
• Take technical responsibility for mechanical deliverables in projects
• Follow up manufacturing and assembly
• Participate in product development and continuous improvement of existing solutions

Qualifications (Must-have)

• Relevant technical education (Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
• Strong proficiency in Inventor and Vault (or similar 3D/PDM systems)
• Good proficiency in Norwegian and English (both spoken and written)

Nice to Have

• Experience from offshore or marine industries
• Experience in a technical lead role
• Knowledge of welding, NDT, or materials engineering
• Experience from industrial product development environments
