• In this high-impact role, you will:
• Support welding activities across tendering, execution, and R&D
• Review technical specs and drive cost, quality, and schedule performance
• Develop and manage WPSs, WPQT/WQT programmes and documentation
• Select optimal welding equipment and consumables
• Provide technical guidance across multiple departments
• Coordinate welder training, qualifications, and performance
• Work closely with clients, inspectors, and third‑party vendors
• Support site welding activities and mobilisations
• Maintain strict compliance with QHSE standards
• Ensure documentation accuracy, traceability, and project alignment
• You’ll be central to delivering safe, efficient, and industry-leading results.What You Bring
• We’re looking for a strong mix of experience, insight, and drive:
• Bachelor's degree in welding or materials engineering (or equivalent experience)
• EWE/IWE diploma or working towards certification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Welding Engineer
• In-depth knowledge of pipeline welding processes and inspection
• Experience with mechanised welding procedure qualifications
• Strong understanding of welding equipment, consumables, and techniques
• Great communication, analytical skills, and a proactive mindsetTravel Requirements
Approximately 30% travel, supporting both onshore and offshore activities.Who You’ll Work With
You’ll collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including:
• Engineering, Operations & Project Management Teams
• Sales & Tendering Teams
• Clients, Inspectors & 3rd‑Party Vendors
• You’ll be a trusted technical voice across the business.
