Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the EL Smart Building business in Xiamen China.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Acts as a mechanical design engineer and approves design deliverables.
• Reviews all project documents for conformity, safety and quality assurance requirements.
• Anticipates and solves unprecedented design problems, crucial issues, and/or unique conditions.
• Serves as a specialist in the application of advanced concepts and methods.
• Continuously improve the mechanical solution to ensure technological excellence.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering or related field, with 2 year of working experience.
• Good team cooperation ability
• Stress resistance, capable of handling pressure from different functions and projects.
• Good English skill.
