Are you a subject matter expert in corrosion management looking for a high-impact leadership role?

We are seeking a Manager of Asset Integrity to spearhead the Inspection & Corrosion department for our client in Algeria.
This is a senior-level strategic position designed for an expert who can balance technical mastery with departmental leadership in a dynamic, large-scale production environment.

The Role
As the Asset Integrity Manager, you will provide strategic leadership to a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of integrity across all production infrastructure. You will be the driving force behind modernizing corrosion management and ensuring regulatory compliance within the Algerian energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Set departmental standards, workplans, and priorities for the Inspection & Corrosion team.
  • Corrosion Management: Oversee the optimization of chemical inhibition treatments and lead the design/implementation of large-scale corrosion management programs.
  • RBI Implementation: Develop and maintain a Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) program in alignment with API 580 and 581.
  • Operational Oversight: Lead planning for shutdown-related corrosion activities and analyze data trends to identify emerging risks.
  • Contractor & Budget Management: Optimize contracting strategies, manage service provider performance, and lead budgeting efforts for the department.
  • Compliance: Ensure all equipment meets the requirements of Algerian decrees 90-245 and 90-246.


Your Profile

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a deep technical pedigree in metallurgy and a proven track record within an operating oil & gas facility.Essential Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree is mandatory. While Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is considered, a degree in Materials Science or Metallurgy is highly advantageous.
  • Experience: Extensive experience managing inspection and corrosion issues for a major operator.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven ability to implement and optimize chemical treatment programs and proficiency in corrosion management software.
  • Project Management: Strong leadership and PM skills with the ability to manage large data sets and provide succinct analysis to executive management.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in French or Arabic is considered a significant advantage given the location and local reporting.
