Job Description:

We are seeking a Staff Project Engineer to join the GET organization at the Latina Plant (Italy).

Within the Engineering team, you will lead the design and introduction of new pharmaceutical products at the site and support the implementation of new product configurations as well as enabling technologies to meet evolving market needs. Your work will have a direct impact on patients, and you will also contribute to innovation projects that are essential to improving site efficiency and strengthening right-first-time performance.

Delivering competitive, robust engineering solutions is a key part of our work. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of site processes and technical solutions for the pharmaceutical sector, aligned with Industry 4.0 principles.

You will manage cross-functional collaboration across departments and with external suppliers to define and deliver new solutions. In parallel, you will support the continuous evolution of technologies and ways of working to drive step-by-step improvements in process efficiency and right-first-time performance. This is a highly engaging opportunity for professionals who want to contribute to the evolution of pharmaceutical manufacturing through connectivity, data-driven decision-making, and the effective use of enabling technologies.

This role is well suited to a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset. You will be encouraged to propose and implement new ideas and to contribute to regular discussions focused on identifying and delivering innovative solutions.

Education, Experience and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment and a related role;
  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred-e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, or Management Engineering; related technical degrees may be considered);
  • Ability to build strong working partnerships and establish trust and credibility at all levels;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and management;
  • Proficiency in English is required (B2 level or above).

Other qualifications that will be considered as a plus:
  • Budget management;
  • Previous experience in systems improvement and operations (including enabling technologies).
