Purpose of the position: As Welding Engineer , you will respond to the Offshore Pipeline Welding Management and be part of the Asset Based Services Business Line within PIPWE department / Pipeline Technology scope. You will support the Offshore Pipeline Welding team.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

1. Provide Welding support to all engineering disciplines to comply with contractual requirements and with the updated technological criteria;
2. Evaluate Client/End User tender documents and requirements relevant to metallic materials and associated fabrication process;
3. Prepare and issue preliminary Welding Documents for assigned project or bids;
4. Participate to Welding Procedure Qualifications in our Pipeline Technologies Center Located in Ploiesti - Romania - Several missions per year .
5. Ensure the readiness of the welding equipment on vessels/yards prior the start of the installation/production
6. Participate to the welder qualifications onboard vessels or on site - offshore missions.
7. Follow up of the KPIs (Key Performance Indicator), analyze and explain any deviation.
8. Review welding documents (WPS/PQR), welding repair and heat treatment procedures issued by Manufacturer/Vendor and prepare welding qualification matrix and pWPS for piping/pipeline direct hiring construction welds;
9. Define and witness welding trial test for special materials;

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree in Mechanical, Chimical, Materials Engineering

Experience: 3-5 years' experience as a Welding Engineer in the Oil&Gas industry

Languages: English minimum B1

Technical Skills: it is appreciated the International Welding Engineer (IWE) Certificate

IT Skills: good skills in using the main computer software programs
