In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Own mechanical sustaining activities for released products, including root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and ongoing design improvements.
• Design, maintain, and enhance electronics packaging solutions such as enclosures, assemblies, internal components, and accessories.
• Perform tolerance, thermal, and structural analyses to support product robustness and long‑term reliability.
• Partner closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to resolve production, field, and supplier issues.
• Define, document, and maintain material and manufacturing specifications, supporting production changes and engineering change execution.
• Support supplier qualification activities, including material changes, alternate sourcing, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Act as a technical resource for mechanical design and electronics packaging best practices, supporting knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally within electronics hardware, industrial products, or sustaining engineering environments.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals, materials, and common manufacturing processes.
• Experience analyzing technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective, sustainable solutions.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, in a global engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience using CAD and CAE tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
• Hands‑on experience designing metal and plastic components and working with related manufacturing methods.
• Exposure to high‑mix, low‑volume products or sustaining engineering roles.
• Experience supporting supplier qualification, material changes, or production support activities.
