You will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the activities within the Digital Solutions operations based in Egypt. Leading in the modification, development, writing and implements software programming applications including support and installation of software applications/operating systems. You will also provides technical support to project team members and demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Providing consultation on complex projects
• Involved with the creation of project plans and budgets.
• Responsible for delivery of the project tasks as assigned.
• Commissioning & Deployment of SCADA solution in the field
• Working closely with the sales team to create new pipelines
• Serve as an on-site Team Leader by providing leadership to the team and the customer ensuring efficient completion of tasks within the planned timeline and cost
• Ability to plan projects, assesses project status, and identifies risks in advance to mitigate overall project impact
• Manages 3rd party resources and provides performance reports.
• Develops, prepares, and presents the statement of work, project plans based on site surveys, and requirements gathering.
• Provide technical expertise, while managing both internal and external customer expectations.
• Configures medium to complex applications according to the design documents and adheres to the accepted standards.
• Design, build screens and reports and executes necessary functions to configure the system as designed.
• Uses programming languages to enhance implementations and create utilities.
• Provide custom solutions and participate in software testing during the release cycle.
• Able to train team members and customers on system usage and new product features.
• Identify cause of problems, report them to the developers and provide support to internal and external clients working on consulting projects which use the company's SCADA software.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to SCADA hardware, software, automation etc. (multiple domains)
• Train users in system usage and administration. Also, perform with proficiency product demonstrations and facilitate customer discussions, regarding product capability and design in support of the Sales Account Representative.
• Manage multiple customer projects
• Mentor and evaluate team members and other senior engineers ensuring their objectives are aligned with Weatherford Product Line goals.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
• Perform various other duties assigned by the manager within the physical constraints of the job.
• Travel approximately 50%
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality System Manual, Operating and technical Procedures, and Workplace instructions.

Required:

• 10+ years experience in a similar role
• Eligible to work in Egypt without a visa
• Understanding of the upstream / mid stream Oil and Gas Market
• Experience in SCADA, Protocols such as MODBUS, OPC, MQTT
• Experience in RTUs, PLCs, communication configuration and troubleshooting
• Good debugging /knowledge of either Visual Basic, Python, .Net, C#, SQL, or PowerShell.
• Should be a solution architect in order to create, design and manage an overall technical vision for SCADA solution
• SCADA HMI Design & Implementation
• Experience in integrating applications
• Hands-on with RESTful APIs and web applications (preferred)
• Knowledge of Web Security, Authentication and Authorisation
• Knowledge with OT/ IT Network, Switches, Firewalls etc.
• Knowledge with Visio to create, modify, understand system architecture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters Degree in computer science/ Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation
