We are looking for a Senior Instrumentation & Control Designer for one of our clients with the following details:

Work status: Single status

Qualification and Experience required:

• Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Control Engineering.
• Offshore oil and gas I&C experience.
• Knowledge of ISA/IEC standards and control systems.
• Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in offshore I&C projects.
• Good understanding of field instrumentation and control systems.
• Diploma or degree in engineering/design.
• Strong offshore I&C drafting experience.
• Knowledge of relevant design tools and drafting standards.

Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer

• Lead instrumentation and control engineering activities for offshore projects, including design review, system integration, and commissioning support. Senior I&C roles typically cover DCS/PLC/SCADA, SIS, ESD, and offshore hazardous area requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead review of I&C design deliverables and control philosophies.
• Review instrument index, datasheets, cause & effect charts, and I/O lists.
• Coordinate PLC, DCS, SCADA, SIS, and ESD integration.
• Review vendor documents and technical submissions.
• Support FAT, SAT, loop checking, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with offshore standards, safety requirements, and hazardous area classification.

Instrumentation & Control Engineer

• Support the development and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for offshore facilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and review I&C deliverables.
• Support system architecture, instrument selection, and interface coordination.
• Assist with loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and field instrumentation documents.
• Support commissioning and functional testing.
• Coordinate with process, electrical, and mechanical teams.
• Ensure compliance with project and HSE requirements.

Senior Instrumentation & Control Designer

• Develop detailed I&C design deliverables and support engineering teams with accurate drawings and models.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare I&C layouts, wiring drawings, hook-up drawings, and instrument location plans.
• Update drawings based on engineering comments and design changes.
• Support material take-off and documentation control.
• Coordinate with engineers and other design disciplines.
• Ensure drawing quality and consistency.
