We are looking for an Electrical 2D CAD Operator to join one of our projects onshore.

Location: Afungi Site, Mozambique

Mission

• Manage 3D model systems according to project requirements
• Supervise 3D model activities ensuring the application of Project procedures and specifications
• Set-up and update the 3D model database of all disciplines
• Set-up and supervise 2D drawings and data extraction from 3D model
• Perform technical analysis of 3D model related to design, verification or study activities
• Support the tasks of other discipline 3D CAD specialists

Tasks

Bidding phase:
• Support Project Management in the selection of CAD software, evaluating Client requirements and possible alternatives
• Support Project Management in evaluating cost and schedule impacts relevant to 3D model tool selection

Project Execution:
• Ensure review/application of Contractual requirements within own area of responsibility
• Issue Project specifications for 3D software set-up and user guidelines
• Set-up of 3D Modelling and Review tools and support the activities of 3D model specialists
• Collaborate with ICT function in the management of the activities relevant to 3D model software system
• Prepare and update component libraries collecting necessary component dimensions and data
• Analyse, within his area of responsibility, criticalities in 3D Model development and propose recovery actions
• Set up of tools for 2D drawing issue and data extraction, including piping isometric drawings and MTOs
• Set-up of 3D model for data import and export
• Ensure standardization on 2D drawing settings and 3D model elements
• Contribute to constructability analysis through dedicated review sessions

Construction:
• Support Construction team in Spooling tools set-up
• Support as-built 3D model activities

Staff activities:
• Promote the optimization of engineering function workflows and technical standards in order to improve efficiency
• Collect feedbacks from Projects for continuous improvement of work process (Lesson Learned)
• Develop and scout the market for new CAD tools
• Find and evaluate know-how gaps and plan personnel CAD software training
