In this role, you will provide technical guidance and engineering expertise throughout project execution, from proposal translation to detailed design and practical engineering solutions. You will prepare work packages, documentation, drawings and interface descriptions to ensure projects can be executed efficiently and according to customer, safety and quality requirements.
You will contribute to the successful delivery of maritime technology projects by translating project requirements into clear engineering solutions and working closely with clients, suppliers, field engineers and internal project teams. The role sits within the Projects department, which consists of project managers, engineers and field engineers, and reports to the Project Manager.

Salary

What You Will Do
You will:
- Translate project proposals and customer requirements into detailed designs and practical engineering solutions.
- Prepare work packages for execution, including technical documentation, drawings and interface descriptions.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams during design, engineering and execution phases.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, field engineers and internal stakeholders to align technical requirements and project delivery.
- Monitor engineering progress, identify risks or issues and propose corrective actions when needed.
- Improve engineering standards, procedures and tooling based on project outcomes and industry developments.

A person is successful in this role when they:
- Deliver clear, compliant and practical technical solutions for newbuild and major refit projects by translating the agreed scope into complete designs, equipment lists, interface agreements, documentation and technical support.
- Achieve reliable project delivery by ensuring that clients, yards, Field Engineers and internal teams know what will be delivered and have the technical information needed to rely on Radio Holland as a professional project partner.
- Improve project team readiness and safety by proactively checking what Field Engineers need, making sure the right materials, work instructions and quality checks are available on time, and helping to prevent unclear scopes, unsafe situations and avoidable last-minute pressure.
- Manage engineering priorities effectively and deliver project packages in line with contract, budget, planning, quality and safety requirements, while keeping documentation accurate, complete and under control.
- Create measurable value for clients, colleagues and the business by identifying risks early, reducing rework and informing the Project Manager in time about progress, issues and actions needed to achieve the project KPIs.

What You Bring
Required
- Completed vocational education or equivalent technical background in Engineering, Electronics, Design or a related field.
- Ability to translate project requirements into practical engineering solutions, including documentation and drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and structured working approach.
- Strong communication skills, excellent command of English, and a valid U.S. passport.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Design or a related field.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering and design standards, regulations, safety or quality requirements.
- Experience in maritime technology or an international technical project environment.
