TotalEnergies Marketing Italia Spa, the new corporate name of Total Italia Spa as of September 1, 2021, has been present in Italy for over sixty years and oversees all distribution activities for lubricants, specialty fluids and solvents, fuels (aviation and motorsport), and LNG.

Activities

The Technical Field Engineer will support the Company by providing specialized technical expertise to the Industrial segment. The role contributes to product optimization, customer technical support and continuous improvement, working closely with Sales, customers and TotalEnergies Lubrifiants, in line with quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key Activities

• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers for Industrial lubricants and materials.
• Support improvement and modification projects by integrating technical and commercial aspects.
• Collaborate with TotalEnergies Lubrifiants in the development and implementation of new products, through market analysis, laboratory tests and on-site trials, ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental requirements.
• Ensure post-sales technical support to customers and partners, including analysis of operations and mechanical systems and preparation of lubrication plans.
• Support customers in condition-based and predictive maintenance activities, using vibration analysis and other non-destructive testing techniques (e.g. thermography, video endoscopy) and remote monitoring tools.
• Manage non-routine technical issues and contribute to problem-solving methodologies.
• Support Sales in post-sales technical issues, including customer complaints.
• Contribute to technical training and communication activities in collaboration with Marketing and Sales.
• Ensure updating of product technical data sheets in line with TotalEnergies Lubrifiants developments.

Candidate Profile

• Technical degree or equivalent education, with competencies in Tribology.
• At least 5-8 years of experience in the lubricants industry or a comparable industrial sector.
• Knowledge of lubricants applications and condition monitoring techniques.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Availability to travel across Italy.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• ISO 18436-1 / ISO 18436-2 certification is a plus.
