EngineeringWith Aibel you have a chance to develop your career through a range of projects in renewables and oil and gas. We call ourselves Engineering Pioneers. Whatever our job is, we approach it with creativity, curiosity and a drive to find new and better solutions. First we imagine the future. Then we build it.
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will hold a key role within one of the upstream disciplines, setting the premises for the overall process design in Aibel's projects. The role is part of a competent process team in Thailand, while also contributing to multidisciplinary projects across multiple Aibel office locations and engaging with a large global process community of skilled engineers and experienced experts.
In this role, you will be involved in early-phase studies, FEED and EPCI projects, contributing to both oil & gas (greenfield, brownfield and MMO Frame Agreements) and selected renewable energy projects, including offshore wind.
About the position
The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for developing safe, efficient and robust process design solutions throughout all project phases. You will perform process simulations and calculations, prepare and verify key process engineering deliverables, and ensure compliance with applicable client specifications, international standards and project procedures. The role requires close collaboration with other engineering disciplines, suppliers and clients, as well as participation in design reviews and safety studies. In addition, you may take on extended responsibilities such as Discipline Lead (DL), Discipline Responsible Engineer (DRE) or System Responsible Engineer (SRE) on assigned projects, while supporting and guiding less experienced engineers within the team.
Qualifications
Personal qualities
We are looking for a process engineer who communicates clearly and collaborates effectively across disciplines and project teams. You have a structured and quality-driven approach to your work, make sound technical judgments and manage deadlines with confidence. You enjoy working independently when required, while actively contributing to team success through knowledge sharing and constructive dialogue. A professional attitude, openness to advice and the ability to build positive working relationships are essential for this role.
Become our colleague
Aibel offers many career opportunities. With us, you can work across disciplines, build competence and develop your own potential. This contributes to a vibrant and engaging work environment. We also offer flexible working hours, and our welfare clubs have a wide range of activities and training opportunities for all our employees.
Our overall strategy is to strengthen and grow the company's strong position within various energy segments, including offshore wind, oil and gas and hydrogen. At the same time, we always pursue new opportunities. Aibel sees social responsibility as a fundamental prerequisite, and sustainable development is therefore a natural part of our guidelines, work procedures and decision-making processes.
We value diversity and work targeted to secure inclusion of all employees.
We engage an external provider to conduct background checks on all final candidates. Candidates are expected to openly offer all relevant information about themselves during the recruitment process. Candidates may be asked for information on affiliation to high-risk countries for a security assessment.
