About this vacancy

This vacancy offers the opportunity to take technical ownership of the electrical architecture behind highly complex, precision-driven R&D systems. The role sits at system level, where long-term architectural choices, safety concepts and compliance requirements come together to enable future technology generations.

The position combines deep electrical expertise with a helicopter view: defining standards and roadmaps, safeguarding current designs, and guiding development teams through technically sound and compliant solutions. It is a role for an experienced electrical engineer who thrives in a high-tech environment, enjoys technical leadership without line management, and is motivated by impact on products that push the boundaries of innovation.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor or Master's degree in electrical engineering.

• 5+ years experience in electrical infrastructure or related design for complex systems.

• Strong knowledge of mains and low-voltage power systems, grounding/earthing, protection and

interconnections.

• Experience with designing for electrical safety, interlocks, fusing, EMI minimization and cabling

definitions.

• Proven familiarity with CE, UL, CSA, NEN, NFPA, IEC, SEMI S2 standards and certification processes.

• Ability to maintain a high-level helicopter view and translate system-level requirements into

detailed electrical interconnection designs.

• Initiative-taking, hands-on mentality, self-steering, self-confident, pragmatic and perseverant.

• Excellent communicator and collaborative teammate.

• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
