As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for executing electrical design and producing essential layout drawings for major projects. In this role, you will be involved in coordinating electrical design on both a discipline-specific and multi-discipline level, ensuring all work meets rigorous international and project standards.

About the position

The Senior Electrical Engineer is accountable for developing electrical designs and layout drawings for lighting, power systems, cable ladders, and trace heating. You will contribute to the project by performing lighting calculations, preparing technical requisitions for bulk materials, and managing cable administration within Cabsys. Collaboration is key, as you will interact with other disciplines to exchange information and ensure work is performed according to project schedules and regulatory requirements. The role also involves supervising personnel, providing technical guidance, and maintaining a focus on HSE and quality performance throughout the design follow-up and as-built phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas or related industry.
• Deep understanding of international Codes and Standards, including IEC, IEEE, and NORSOK.
• Competence in PDMS, AutoCAD or Microstation, Navisworks, and MS Office.
• Good command of English, both speaking and writing.
