Electrical Technician with Electrical & Automation experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of EME (Electrical & Mechanical Equipment) and automation systems at project site.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical panels, motors, sensors, PLC-based systems, and site equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and automation faults to ensure minimum downtime of machinery and operations.
• Perform cable laying, termination, loop checking, testing, and commissioning activities as required.
• Maintain and troubleshoot generators, pumps, lighting systems, control panels, and instrumentation devices.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, automation diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
• Assist in installation, calibration, and commissioning of automation and control systems at site.
• Coordinate with supervisors, operators, and maintenance teams for smooth execution of site activities.
• Follow HSE policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and electrical safety standards during all maintenance work.
• Maintain inspection records, maintenance logs, spare parts inventory, and daily work reports accurately.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical

5-10 Years relevant experience.
