FPSO Interface Engineer

About the Opportunity

An international energy operator is seeking an experienced FPSO Interface Engineer to support the delivery of major offshore oil and gas developments. This role will focus on interface coordination, engineering integration and contractor management across FPSO-related project activities during engineering, fabrication, installation and commissioning phases.

The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and offshore stakeholders to ensure effective coordination between project packages and smooth execution across all project interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate FPSO interface management activities across offshore and onshore project scopes
• Support engineering integration between project packages, contractors and stakeholders
• Manage technical interfaces during FEED, detailed engineering, fabrication and installation phases
• Coordinate with engineering teams, fabrication yards and offshore vessel personnel
• Monitor contractor activities, engineering deliverables and interface progress
• Support project execution planning, reporting and technical coordination activities
• Participate in project meetings, engineering reviews and interface workshops
• Assist with issue resolution and interface risk management across project disciplines
• Support commissioning and offshore execution activities as required
• Ensure engineering documentation and interface registers remain accurate and up to date

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, including Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of experience within the oil and gas industry across offshore and onshore projects
• Previous experience in project engineering within a major oil and gas operator or contractor environment
• Minimum 8 years of experience working with contractors and supervising contractor activities
• Strong experience with FEED and detailed engineering processes
• Experience working in fabrication yards, offshore vessels and engineering offices
• Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work effectively within multidisciplinary and international project teams
