We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Commissioning Officer (SEND and Alternative Provision) to help shape and deliver high-quality services that improve outcomes across Devon.
Working within our Inclusion and Learning team, you will play a key role in developing innovative commissioning strategies and driving service improvement, working collaboratively with partners, providers, families and communities.
We are looking for someone with strong experience of commissioning and procurement of education, SEND, social care or health services, alongside a proven track record of leading strategic commissioning and/or change programmes.
You will bring expertise in working at a strategic level with SEND providers, children, families and carers, and a wide range of partners and community stakeholders, underpinned by a sound knowledge of the structure and workings of local government and a background in education and/or SEND.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence system-wide change and champion the needs of children and young people at a strategic level.
